This years Grammy’s saw stunning corset dresses hit the red carpet in this little number worn by Jennifer Lopez, sen here with Beyonce. Not a proper corset dress as it lacks boning its none the less a corset cut material-wise. How much better it would look with a little cincher magic at the waist!
These two starlets are touting the ever popular rock chic look with their black eye make-up; chic flicks for Beyonce and the smokey come-to-bed look for Jen. Studs especially square pointed ones are really in as you can see and the cut outs on Jen’s dress give much the same effect visually. Underwear as outer wear is accented by the flesh tone color of Jen’s bustier dress too. Smokin’!
For this winters wardrobe I hope your not dusting off those big jumpers and extra thick jeans, o no, the look on the lips of all the designers this year is the 50′s style cinched in waist. A return to full skirted dresses with corseted waists, chic is back!
Louis Vuitton especially had an elegant display of pinched waists at the Autumn Winter catwalks this year, in an array of soft muted pastel shades with autumnal tones. The trend is called ‘all woman’ which we think is particularly apt for a style that incorporates the corset dress. It centers round full hipped flowing skirts and tiny waists, to over emphasize the female curves. His long skirts with tight corset top halves are set to be key wardrobe styles this season. And as underwear worn as outerwear is also set to be a key trend over fall 2010, a corset dress really is this seasons must have wardrobe item.

One of the big trends this season is leather, such a versatile fabric its creeping into all garment areas for winter and staying put till spring! Leather skirts have already established themselves, looking great with a pair of knee high boots or ankle boots teamed with thick wooly tights. But as the cold weather sets in, the leather dress will go into overdrive! The underwear as outerwear is also continuing on from summer into our winter wardrobe but swapping those skin coloured mute pinks for hard blacks.
Jean Paul Gaultier’s offering on the Autumn/Winter catwalks didn’t disappoint, with a number of long leather dresses and corseted constructions he took the underwear/outerwear theme to raunchy new hights with a strip off from Dita Von Tease in the sexiest corset dress of the season!

Well, you wouldn’t exactly want to see shaved legs on a man…but a woman well thats different! We’re different, and that is the call of 2010! Women have always taken a special value in themselves.
